Integrating digital tools into ESP teaching: A need analysis of a business English course

This case study was a preliminary stage of an on-going research and development project on developing business English textbook integrated with digital tools for students Education at Nahdlatul Ulama University Yogyakarta. It investigated the students’ perceived needs their course. To collect data, analysis questionnaire administered to using Google form including necessities, lacks, wants practical course design. Both quantitative qualitative methods were used analyse collected data. defined context in which would use future profession. Results showed that (1) proficiency still middle, (2) The daily life communication occasion, (3) skills’ preferences should be learnt speaking, writing, listening, reading, (4) Topics included contexts interview, curriculum vitae, presentation top three, (5) Digital tools’ into learning Kahoot, Padlet, VoiceThread (6) Learning implemented group discussion project-based two.
